EDITORIAL CURRENT IDEA
For my Editorial I'm hoping to work with two models and both will have a different make-up look and different outfits. While studying the collection I have really studied the colours and the combination they work with. For each model I have decided to dress them both if different colour scheme and will base them both around there colour.
MODEL 1
BLUE/RED/WHITE
The first model will be based around the colour of the blue, red and white which was a popular colour combination in the S/S 2016. The spring make-up collection contains these colours with the red lipstick, blue eye liner and blue eye shadow. As we have previously seen the editorial created by Chanel for this year the make-up is quite plain and simple with black liner around the eyes.

Model one will blue, red and white and will be styled in these colours. Recently I went on a spree to try and find outfits for the editorial shoots and jewellery. I found multiple garments suitable for the shoot however it was a struggle finding clothes in red and blue as it hasn't been popular this year so far.
OUTFIT ONE
So far this is is the outfit I put together going along with the 2016 colour scheme. The outfit isn't super bright compared to the red , white and blue in the collection so I feel I need to dig for this outfit a little bit more trying to find the colours. I think along the lines of it being mainly white with a light red/black and white jacket goes along more with the outfit in the show where its completely white with some colour threads stitched along. The outfit contains so white linen trouser, very sophisticated and Chanel like, a tweed jacket with black, light red and white stitched into it which when purchasing it, it was in the sale for £10 and I think goes very well with this years collection and feel this was a good buy. I then moved onto jewellery as Chanel tends to use a lot of silver and pearls, that is what I went for. I got a silver chunky necklace and also some white long pearls and finished the look off with white sunglasses. I need to go out again and re think the outfit, I'm super happy with the jacket but I feel it needs a little bit more colour. I double thinking about the trousers because as summery as they are and smart which Chanel always goes for there are a lot of skirts in this year so I think another shopping spree is on the way.. and definitely I need more silver jewellery.

MODEL 2
BLACK/GREY/WHITE
The second model will be based around black, white and grey as its combination came up a lot in the 2016 collection. The look will be edgy however still within the Chanel style of still looking sophisticated. For the make-up with the black, white and grey look I want to go for the green eye make-up in conjunction with the monochrome outfit. I have also purchased an outfit for this look where I was experimenting with the clothes and jewellery to see what works well together.
OUTFIT 2
This is the second look for model two which is black, white and grey. The monochrome theme is definitly easier to find clothing for and since its mostly the colour I wear it sticks out more to me. For this look I put together three outfitsm its always better to have choice rather than nothing at all. The first look on the top left hand corner is a shift dress type, the materials is thick and has pockets on the side, its around knee length and is short sleeved. With this look I choose to put a grey jumper round the way, silver necklace and pearls with a grey visor hat. Outfit two it the top middle which is fitted black and white trousers and a black and white tweed top, the top is very much the right style and material for the look however I'm really not very keen on it so this one is probably a no, again kitted out with silver necklace and pearls. The last outfit which I really like and is the bottom left look is fitted patterned trousers, knitted black and white striped crop top, grey jumper tied over the shoulders and finished with silver necklace, pearls, black round sun glasses and a grey visor hat. Apart from the dress both other looks are with fitted trousers which are a thin summer material and pattern so still gives a summer however a lot of the trousers this year either had a long skirt layered over it or were loose fitting trousers. Chanel would uses something like this and I feel for the editorial I can mix it up again. I want to take another look around the shops to see what else I can find and if there is more summer clothing that I can use for my shoots, finally with be creating the make-up and hair to match and gather inspiration from designers and on-going trends.
LOCATION
I have decided to shoot on location outside because the past spring/summer editorials have been outside and I think it goes better with the summer theme.

My inspiration for location was from the Spring/Summer 2016 Cruise collection editorial where the models are positioned leaning on a tree and posing together. I think with being outside and including the green leaves from the tree already shouts out summer. I going to shoot in a park/forest where I can get the natural in behind the models however I just have to catch it on a warm, sunny day. I have looked at the forecast over the next few weeks and the weather is looking very rainy most days, if not back up plan will be shooting in a studio.
