MAKE-UP INSPIRATION
THE ANTI-CAT EYE
Narciso Rodriguez spring / summer 15 ready-to-wear Black eyeliner never goes out of style, but the way to wear it was for spring/summer 2015 is from the middle of the eyes extended past the outer corners, as at Céline, Prada and Narciso Rodriguez or in a bold line underneath a la Just Cavalli. And not as a retro cat-eye - keep the line straight and strong for a truly graphic effect. Bored of black? Try Peter Philips' trick at Fendi and Christian Dior, where he applied strips of coloured plastic or fabric in the place of liner.
I really like the anti-cat eyes where you can use pencil liner around the eyes on the top and bottom and smudge it in a little. For my editorial colour I will use a blue eye pencil for the blue/red/white combination and a green pencil for the black/white/grey combination. I will line around the top and bottom of the eye and use the end of a brush to blend it around the eye.

GLOWING SKIN
Ralph Lauren A/W 15 16 shows how flawless your skin can be with a slight shine/highlight to certain areas of the face. I love a flawless face with a healthy glow. I don't want super dewy skin as I do prefer matte however I just want a slight highlight to the peak areas of the face to give a summer glow.
FLUSHED PINK CHEEKS
Alexander Mcqueen Spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection has model after model of perfect skin with a hint of pink to the cheeks. “There’s a bohemian elegance, a radiant rawness,” said makeup artist Lucia Pieroni, who was conjuring flushed cheeks and glowing skin using a Clé de Peau Beauté cream blush and MAC Strobe Cream as a highlighter. “It’s that warm pink you get from walking, the slight ruddiness of the cheek,” she said. “You don’t look like you’re wearing makeup; you just look amazing.”
For the spring/summer make-up I really like a hint of pink on the cheeks showing a healthy glow and to warm the skin tone up.
BRIGHT LIP
Chanel Cruise Spring/Summer 2016 collection has some bright lip colours in there show and editorial photo shoot for the collection. The colour ranges between a bright pink/orange to a bright red/orange. For my make-up idea I want quite a distinguished lip colour, flawless glowing face and the blue or green slighting around the eye.
BROWS
For the brows I'm going for a light application however making them a little thicker than the normal size of the models however I don't want all eyes on the brows so it will be a light application and brushed through.
FACE CHARTS
Above are two face charts for each model for my editorial look. This design includes the anti-cat eye created by Narciso Rodriguez in spring / summer 15 ready-to-wear collection, model one will have blue liner smudged around the eye in the anti-cat eye style and then blue/silver eye shadow will be around it and blended outwards but still kept close to the eye. The lip from the Chanel spring collection called Shipshape which is a bright orange/red colour. The skin is flawless with a slight shine and certain areas highlighted, cheek contoured and with a hint of pink blush. The brows are defined and brushed through with a little bit of product to make them thicker. The second look is with green eye pencil creating the anti-cat eye and green eye shadow around the eye and blended out, the skin make-up is the same and the lips are a darker colour called energy which is more of a berry colour and a slightly darker shade.
In this second design the only thing I changed was the eye make-up, I firstly got inspiration from the Chanel couture 2016 make-up with the elongated black eyeliner and then I found the eyeliner that Giorgio Armani Prive spring/ summer 2016 created which features eyeliner to the lash line and then liner on the crease of the lid. Model one has two blue eyeliners one close to the lash line and one on the crease. The lip colour for model one is the same which is the orange/red shade. Model two has black liner which will correspond with the black, white and grey outfit. My inspiration is from the images above which are different looks from designer from last year and this year. The bright lid colours are used from the Chanel 2016 collection and was inspired from the Chanel 2016 cruise catwalk and editorial which all feature bright lips for the summer.
HAIR INSPIRATION
The style I have been obsessed with since day one is Chanels A/W 2014-15 ready-to-wear collection. I think the hair is really out there and at the same time being sleek and sophisticated its crazy and colourful at the back. Pieces of material are added to the thick low pony tail and creates a very artist hair style. The hair is mainly straight with certain parts crimped, its in a center parting and slick to the back.
However I think on of models hair is quite short and unless I purchase some hair extensions or a clip on ponytail then then style would not give the same effect.
OR
Model 1
Model 2
Model one who has shorter hair will have a slick gelled look straightened however will be in a center
parting to match the other model. The hair will be combed down and product applied throughout the hold the position. Model two who had longer hair will have a center parting and a low slick ponytail tight to the head.
