EDIT ONE
EDIT TWO
EDIT THREE
For my Editorial I firstly down the 200 images to around 10 of my favourites. From there I study each image dead to toe to make sure i'm happy with it before I select it for the finals. Finally I got my images down to my three best which I look the models were in a good position, there expressions were good, good stance, nice angle, good framing and the hair and clothing/accessories were all on point and in position. My first chosen one was the full body portrait shot, the second was a close up portrait shot and the third was a landscape mid body shot. I chose these all for different reasons and for the overall quality of the images and all the aspects I mentioned above. In first edit I liked how one mode had eye contact and one was gazing out, both stances were good and I liked how the sun came down strong and shadowed over in certain areas and I like the one model lent up against the tree. My second image is my complete favourite as I love everything about the image and think its a really beautiful edgy shot. The third image I really like because its slightly different and its landscape which Chanels cruise editorials are all landscape images. I didn't know it the tree was too powering in the image or if it suited well and was more of a leaning prop for the models.
I then booked a 1-1 with Kat to show her my final editorial images and she was pleased with the outcome of the shoot as she knew had be struggling with planning this shoot and getting it together. Kat said in the first image she wasn't to keen on the right models leg position as it looks a little awkward however really liked the second and third image and her feedback was positive to them both. I asked about the tree as I was concerned if the tree in the middle was too much and she though it was not and its a very good image. For my submission I have decided to go with Edit two and three as I feel these are my best and strongest images.
